Sperm Donation

Sperm donation is the process in which a man donates his sperm to help a person or couple have a child.

The sperm donor, who remains anonymous, needs to be screened before the procedure for any diseases or risk factors as required by the relevant legal framework. In addition, a man who is considering becoming a sperm donor should be aware that this procedure does not pose any risk to his health.

The donation takes place at the sperm bank after the necessary preparation instructions have been given. The sample is then frozen and all the required donor tests are carried out in the following months. If the results are negative, the sample is thawed and the man is eventually selected as a sperm donor.
