Egg donation
There are women who for various reasons produce poor quality eggs or cannot produce eggs. Egg donation is the process by which a woman donates her eggs for assisted reproduction. Today, it is clear to everyone that we are talking about a safe, scientific method with excellent results.
Egg donation is made in cases where:
- The woman is a carrier of a serious genetic disease
- There are no ovaries or they are malfunctioning or do not respond to ovarian stimulation.
- The woman is> 42 years old
Donors are screened for a range of diseases and a complete medical history is obtained. The tests submitted by the donors are HIV, Hepatitis B and C, gonorrhea, syphilis, cystic fibrosis, beta-thalassemia, etc.
Egg donation is done anonymously and can be done with fresh or frozen eggs.
