Short Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Dimitris Pippas is a graduate of the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition Science of Harokopio University and the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science of the University of Athens.His Master’s degree is in Applied Dietetics-Nutrition and Exercise, while he holds a PhD from the University of Athens, with his research interest focusing on gene predisposition and its interactions with diet and exercise. He has been awarded the first prize by the Hellenic Society of Adolescent Medicine (E.E.E.I.) “Georgios Maragos” and is the author of the book Ikarian Diet, scientific director of Ikarian diet clinics and Co-Founder of the IkarianDietClinics mobile app.
